R. Walsh, rider of Theatre Wine trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled from an early stage of this race.
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Theatre Wine, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race. Samples were taken for analysis.
